Soft Play and Inflatable Bouncing Castle Rules and Safety Instructions
The User renting this Rental Equipment is fully responsible for ensuring the Rental Equipment is used in a manner that is safe and in accordance with the rules and safety instructions provided below. The person or organization renting this Rental Equipment must ensure that all precautions are taken to avoid injury to people and damage of the Rental Equipment.
Please read all safety instructions and guidelines carefully to ensure that all participants follow them.
Appropriate age usage
The User shall ensure that only children of the appropriate ages are using the Rental Equipment.
It is encouraged that only children ages 0–5 use the soft play Rental Equipment.
Most of our bounce houses have a maximum weight capacity of approximately 250 lbs. Please ensure this limit is respected for safety reasons. For larger bounce houses or specific models, we encourage you to double-check the listed maximum capacity at the time of rental to ensure proper use.
Adult supervision
The User shall designate at least two responsible adults, who are at least 25 years of age, to supervise participants at the soft play areas and the inflatable bouncing castle at all times while the Rental Equipment is in use, ensuring the safety of the participants using the Rental Equipment and encouraging cooperative play (no pushing, fighting, rough play or somersaults).
The User shall ensure that there is at least one responsible adult, who is at least 25 years of age, supervising the inflatable bouncing castle at all times during its use to ensure that no participants collide with each other and that it is being used in a safe manner.
Safety & Rules
The User shall ensure there is absolutely no food or drinks on the soft play areas, nor inside or around the inflatable bouncing castle at all times.
The User shall ensure Rental Equipment is returned in the same condition as it was received in.
The User shall ensure all individuals who use the bouncing castle are free of glasses, jewelry, badges, shoes, and are dressed appropriately for their safety and the safety of others.
The User shall ensure that there are no smoking devices, no pets, no sharp objects, and no toys in or around soft play and inflatable bouncing castle areas.
The User shall ensure individuals who use the Renal Equipment are playing in a respectful manner with soft play Rental Equipment (no throwing, kicking or punching the equipment).
The User shall ensure the individuals using the equipment are not using crayons, markers, face paint or any substance that can damage the rented equipment.
The User shall ensure that all Rental Equipment is brought inside or to a dry area in the event it begins to rain during my Rental Period.
The User shall advise each participant who uses the Rental Equipment during the Rental Period of all rules within these ‘Soft Play and Inflatable bouncing castle Rules and Safety Instructions’ and shall also advise their parents and or legal guardians before they use the Rental Equipment. Once the User is certain the participants and their parents/guardians understand and agree with all safety guidelines stated here, the participants may use the Rental Equipment.
The User shall ensure that there is an appropriately sized, specially designated area for the Rental Equipment’s safe set up and use that is open, clean, uncluttered and free of any hazards/obstructions which may pose a risk to the Rental Equipment or the participants.
The User shall have the designated area prepared for the Owner to set up the
Rental Equipment, prior to its delivery.
The User shall ensure that all Rental Equipment stays within the designated areas at all times.
Inflatable Bouncing Castle
The User shall ensure that the inflatable bouncing castle is not overcrowded and does not exceed the weight restrictions (3-5 children; ages 3-5 or max weight of 250lbs). The User shall also ensure that only children whom are evenly matched (in weight and height) are on the inflatable bouncing castle at the same time for safety reasons.
The User shall not allow anyone to be on the inflatable bouncing castle during inflation and deflation under any circumstances.
The User shall ensure that if the blower mechanism which fills the inflatable bouncing castle with air stops working, all participants will evacuate the Rental Equipment immediately.
The User shall not use the Rental Equipment if winds exceed 20 km/hr or in the rain. If it begins to rain or if winds begin to exceed 20 km/h while the Rental Equipment is in use, the User shall ensure that all participants cease their use of the Rental Equipment immediately, evacuate the inflatable bouncing castle, and ensure that the Rental Equipment is kept safe, dry and free from damage.
The User confirms that they fully understand that if these rules are not followed, it may result in injury to participants or damage to the Rental Equipment, in which case the User will lose their security deposit of $200 and shall be liable to the Owner for any further damage not covered by the security deposit.
